Couple Plans September Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Roy of Breaux Bridge are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shelbi Taylor Roy, to Myles Jude Pryor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Louis Pryor of Rayne.
Shelbi and Myles will be married on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, followed by a reception at The Crossing at Mervine Kahn in Rayne.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Genette O’Brien, the late Leroy O’Brien, Barbara Roy and the late Sunny Roy, all of Lafayette.
She is a 2010 graduate of Teurlings High School, and attained a bachelor of science degree in marketing in 2014 at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currenly attending cosmetology school at CTC to fulfill her dream of hair and makeup design.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Habetz and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pryor, all of Rayne. He is a 2010 graduate of Rayne High School, attained a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering in 2015, and is presently employed by Wood Group PSN/Swift Energy as a production operator.
Following their wedding, the couple plan to reside in Parks.
