Couple exchanges vows at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church

Claire Renee Frederick of Eunice and Jacob Sarver of Crowley were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Eunice.
Deacon David Guillory officiated the 6 p.m. nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Danny Frederick of Eunice. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Menard of Erath and Mr. and Mrs. Norris Frederick of Kaplan.
The groom is the son of Susan and Marlon Sarver of Crowley. He is the grandson of Mrs. Julia Anne Seale of Crowley and the late Mr. Richard Seale.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was gorgeous in a romantic ivory gown by Maggie Sottero. Featuring an illusion neckline and slim A-line silhouette, the gown was finished with delicate cap sleeves and defined at the natural waistline by a glittering Swarovski crystal belt.
To serve as matrons of honor, the bride selected her sisters, Terra Frederick Johnson of Katy, Texas, and Lindsay Frederick Mooney of Rayne.
They were clad in sleeveless mint-colored illusion lace overlay dresses by Adrianna Papell. High illusion necklines and self-tie ribbon sashes completed the elegant above-the-knee dresses, which were complimented by cubic zirconia and crystal hair combs.
Serving as flower girls were Anna Mooney and Quinn Johnson, nieces and godchildren of the bride; Alice Mooney, niece of the bride; Julia Shoffiett, niece of the groom; and Sophia Sarver, niece and godchild of the groom.
Standing as best man was Robert Sarver, brother of the groom. Mason Shoffiett, nephew and godchild of the groom served as both groomsman and ring bearer.
Ushers were Isaac Frederick, brother of the bride, and Mike Shoffiett, brother-in-law of the groom.
Music for the service was provided by pianist Connie Beaugh.
Lectors were Michelle Seale and Mandie Lucas, aunts of the groom.
After the wedding, family and friends joined the newlywed couple for a reception at Ruby’s Restaurant and Courtyard in Eunice.
The bride is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is presently employed as a teacher at Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy in Youngsville.
The groom attended Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is currently employed as a private investigator with Lucas Investigations LLC.
The couple will reside in Scott.
