Heinen, Avel set August 6 wedding
Malori Elizabeth Heinen and Christopher Paul Avel II
Toni and Blane Heinen of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Malori Elizabeth of Lafayette, to Christopher Paul Avel II of Maurice.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Linda and Eulix Hollier of Mire, Bonnie Foley of Webster, New York, and John Heinen Jr. and the late Jeannette Heinen of Rayne,
Malori is a 2011 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology in 2015. She is presently a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
The prospective groom is the son of Melinda Bourque of Maurice and the late Christopher Avel I of Estherwood. His maternal grandparents are the late Florine and Wilton Lege of Abbeville, and his paternal grandparents are Janis and Ronald Coignard of Estherwood.
Christopher graduated from North Vermilion High School in 2010 before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology in 2014. He is presently employed with Precision Rehabilitation.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows on Saturday, Aug. 6, at St. Leo IV Catholic Church in Rayne.
