Jan. 9 wedding set for Tuttle, Trahan

David James and Gina Bradley Tuttle of Opelousas have announced the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hilary Ellison Tuttle of Opelousas, to Dr. Jake Trahan III of Nashville, Tennessee, son of Lelia Denise and Jake Trahan II of Egan.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Virval Fontenot Bradley of Opelousas and the late John Edmund Bradley Sr., and of the late George Russell and Addalu McDaniel Tuttle.
Hilary graduated from Opelousas Catholic School in 2009 before attending Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and business from the Manship School of Mass Communication in 2013. She is presently a third-year law student at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
The groom’s maternal grandparents are Gayle and Gene Godeaux and the late Charles Early Myers, and his paternal grandparents are Jake and Genevieve Trahan, all of Egan.
The groom, a graduate of Iota High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Louisiana State University and an M.D. degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He is currently employed as a resident in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
The betrothed couple will be united in holy matrimony on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at the Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans.
