Mayme Elizabeth Cook - Mark Stuart Brown, Jr.

Local couple plans June wedding

Robert and Karon Cook of Rayne are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mayme Elizabeth, to Mark Stuart Brown, Jr., son of Mark and Andree Brown of Crowley.
A seven o’clock evening ceremony on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church will unite the couple in marriage. A reception will follow at The Warehouse Event Center in Rayne.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rosemary Curtis of Rayne, the late Dr. C.T. Curtis, and the late Lewis and Josie Cook.
Mayme is a 2011 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley. She received a degree in nutrition this month from Louisiana State University.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Louis Mayeaux of Crowley, the late Charlotte Mayeaux, Terry Brown of Eunice and the late Francis Brown.
Mark is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley, attained a degree in general studies in 2011 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is self-employed as a farmer with MB Crawfish.
Following the wedding, the couple plans to reside in Crowley.
