March 8 wedding date set by Nickel, Ledford

Bonnie Harmon and Jeffry Nickel, both of Crowley, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Elizabeth Nickel of Crowley, to Duane Ledford Jr. of Youngsville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Elizabeth and Harold Harmon, and Yvonne Nickel and the late Lloyd Nickel, all of Crowley.

Allison graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2005 before attending Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2009.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Ledford of Crowley. His grandparents are Ethel Leger of Rayne and the late Merton Leger, and the late Sally and Sherman Ledford of Crowley.

Duane is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and is currently employed by Frank’s Casing.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows on Saturday, March 8, during an outdoors ceremony at Bayou Bend Country Club in Crowley.
