Miller, Piazza announce wedding

Erica Danielle Miller of Crowley and Christopher Cecil Piazza of Abbeville have announced their engagement and commitment to be wed on the evening of Saturday, Nov. 14.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Gregory K. and Kayla Miller of Jennings and the late Marilyn Janet Jones of Crowley. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jones of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller of Eunice.
Erica graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2006 before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2013. She is presently employed in the emergency department of Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
The prospective groom is the son of Mayor Mark F. and Suzanne Piazza of Abbeville. His maternal grandparents are the late Gerald C. Harrington of Abbeville and the late Bertha D. Zaunbrecher of Rayne and Abbeville. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Piazza of Abbeville.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. He is currently employed by State Farm Insurance.
The couple will be wed during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by Fr. Louis Richard at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville.
Following their wedding, they will reside in Crowley.
