Mrs. Christopher Michael Foreman

Pinac, Foreman united at St. Joseph Church

Couple to reside in Webster, Texas, following wedding trip to Turks and Caicos Islands

Andrea Claire Pinac and Christopher Michael Foreman, both of Webster, Texas, were joined in holy matrimony on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 13, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne.

Rev. Kendal Faulk officiated the 6 p.m. nuptials.

The bride is the daughter of Phyllis Doré Owens and Gillis James Pinac, both of Crowley. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Doré Jr. of Crowley. Her paternal grandparents are Mrs. Patricia L. Pinac of Crowley and the late Mr. André L. Pinac Jr.

Andrea graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2006 before attending Louisiana State University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication disorders in 2010. She is also a graduate of the LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans, where she earned a master’s degree in communication disorders in 2012. She is presently employed with Bay Area Speech-Language Learning Associates, a division of Krist Samaritan Center, in Houston, Texas, as a speech pathologist.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael David Foreman of Rayne. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Patrick Gautreaux of Rayne, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Leon Foreman of Crowley.

Christopher is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University in 2011 before earning a Master of Science degree in the same field, also from LSU, in 2013. He is currently employed as a propulsion engineer by Boeing.

Guests were greeted by Mary Catherine Pinac, the sister of the bride, who served as program attendant.

They were ushered to their seats by Damian Paul Hubbard, friend of the couple, and Jeron Andree Abshire, friend of the groom.

Music for the ceremony was played by pianist and trumpeter Kip Faulk and violinist Lauren Baker. Sandi Doré, aunt of the bride, provided vocals.

Special selections included “Sheep May Safely Graze,” “Hail Mary: Gentle Woman,” “Canon in D,” “Romantic Amazing Grace,” “How Beautiful,” “You are Mine,” “Ave Maria” and “La Rejouissance.”

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride entered the church to the strains of “Trumpet Voluntary.” Andrea was gorgeous in a slim, floor length ivory gown with a full overlay of delicate lace. Featuring a V-neckline with lovely scalloped edging, the sleeveless dress was defined at the natural waist by a delicate band. The back of the dress featured a romantic keyhole, with the skirt flowing into a chapel train with a scalloped lace hem.

In keeping with tradition, the bride wore a ring containing a diamond that belonged to her late maternal grandparents as “something old.” Her shoes, a gift from her paternal grandmother, served as “something new,” and her veil, borrowed from her sister and matron of honor, served as “something borrowed.” Her wedding date, embroidered in her dress in blue thread, served as “something blue.” A sixpence that had been in her family for many years was tucked into one of her shoes.

Andrea carried a clutch of large white calla lilies hand-tied with ivory ribbon and entwined with a rosary that had belonged to her late maternal great-grandmother, Florence Roy Pinac. The groom’s late maternal grandfather’s wedding band was also included in the bouquet.

Kelli Resi Pinac and Lauren Pinac Nero, both sisters of the bride, served as the maid and matron of honor, respectively.

Caitlin Smith Regan and Mallory Miller Gaspard, both friends of the bride, and Madeline Annie Foreman, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaids.

The attendants were clad in floor length navy blue Belsoie tiffany chiffon gowns featuring classic A-line silhouettes and deep curved backs.

They carried smaller versions of the bride’s calla lily clutch bouquet with the stems wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.

Henry Worth Walton, friend of the groom, served as best man. Standing as groomsmen were Kyle Alexander Jones, friend of the couple, and Grant Anthony Besse, Trent Jordan Leger and Shiloh Montgomery Emerson Meyers, friends of the groom.

Olivia Claire Nero, niece of the bride, served as flower girl, and Brandon Rich Burke, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Readers for the ceremony were Kelcee Koestner MacDonnell, cousin of the bride; Chad Steven Thilborger, cousin of the groom; and Michelle Beard O’Meara, cousin and godmother of the groom.

Offertory gifts were presented by Nicholas John Nero, brother-in-law of the bride; André Louis Pinac III, uncle and godfather of the bride; and Lindsay Broussard Randolph, friend of the bride.

For her daughter’s wedding day, the mother of the bride selected an Adrianna Papell full length cassis-colored gown featuring a boat neckline and draped shoulder. A broach accent at the shoulder completed the elegant dress.

The mother of the groom, the former Christine Gautreaux, chose a floor length gown in irridescent bronze tulle. The gown featured a jeweled neckline, and a ruched waistline added interest and movement.

Following the ceremony, the couple was joined by family and friends for a reception at the Point-aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.

The bride’s three-tiered cake was berry Chantilly decorated with fresh fruit, with two smaller berry Chantilly cakes served on the side. The cakes were served by Mona Seilhan Doré, aunt of the bride.

The groom’s two-tiered yellow cake was iced with chocolate and garnished with chocolate-covered strawberries. It was served by Michelle O’Meara and displayed on a table decorated with photos of the couple throughout their years of courting.

Out-of-town guests at the wedding registered from a number of distant places including Fort Lauderdale and Amelia Island, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; Dayton, Ohio; Houston, Texas; Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia; and various points throughout Louisiana.

On the evening prior to the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Fezzo’s Seafood and Steakhouse in Crowley.

Following a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, the newlyweds will reside in Webster.
