Plan August wedding

Dr. and Mrs. Mark Henry Dawson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth, to Paul Scott Alexander Junior, son of Mr. Paul Scott Alexander and Mrs. Caroline Radford Alexander of Selma, Ala.

The couple will exchange vows in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at seven o’clock in the evening at The Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Audrey LeBeau Hornsby and the late E.J. Hornsby of New Roads and the late Robert and Elaine Dawson of Morganza. She is a graduate of The Academy of the Sacred Heart and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. Erin is currently employed by Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Robert Radford, the late Sara Kathryn Radford, and the late Thomas and Elizabeth Alexander, all of Selma, Ala. He is a graduate of Morgan Academy and Auburn University where he received a bachelor of science degree in management information systems. Paul is currently the president of Scott Communications in Selma, Ala.
