Pousson, Thomas set to wed April 15

Hal and Charlotte Pousson of Iota and Jimmy and Bridget Thomas of Lake Arthur are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Leah Michelle Pousson and James Trey Thomas, both of Welsh.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Denis and Ruth Dupont of Egan, and of the late Leven and Lorraine Pousson of Iota.
She is a 2005 graduate of Iota High School and a 2010 graduate of McNeese State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, with a minor in criminal justice. She is presently employed with Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Grandparents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Hoffpauir of Lake Arthur and the late Mary Louise Hoffpauir, and Jean Thomas of Welsh and the late Dr. Jim Thomas.
The prospective groom graduated from Lake Arthur High School in 2005 before attending McNeese State University, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and sociology in 2015.
The couple will be wed on Friday, April 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota.
