Alicia Nicole Primeaux and Kristian Joseph Mayon

Primeaux, Mayon set Oct. 11 wedding date

Alicia Nicole Primeaux and Kristian Joseph Mayon, both of Lafayette, have announced their engagement and commitment to be wed on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 11.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Wendall and Claudette Guidry Primeaux of Lyons Point. Her maternal grandparents are Louis “L.J.” and Lorita “Bootsie” Guidry of Lyons Point. Her paternal grandparents are Alvin and Francis Primeaux of Lyons Point and the late Audrey Primeaux.

Alicia is a 2007 graduate of Crowley High School and a 2010 graduate of South Louisiana Community College, where she earned an associate’s degree in applied science. She is presently employed as a certified surgical technologist at University Hospital and Clinics.

The prospective groom is the son of Clarence “C.J.” and Lynette Parent of Prairieville and Marshall and Elizabeth Mayon of Berwick. He is the grandson of the late Dudley and Bertha Bercegeau of Gonzales and the late Alceé and Hilda Mayon of Morgan City.

Kristian graduated from Berwick High School in 2000 before enrolling at Nicholls State University, where he studied business administration. He is currently employed with Imenco as its Louisiana sales manager.

Alicia and Kristian will be united in holy matrimony during a 2 p.m. nuptial ceremony conducted by Fr. Bill Ruskoski at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Broussard, followed by a reception at The Madison Banquet & Reception Centre.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
