Announces May wedding

A six o’clock evening wedding ceremony at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Rayne will be the setting on Saturday, May 2, 2015, for a wedding ceremony uniting in marriage Jade Blakely Guidry and Brian Patrick Durio, both of Rayne. The wedding will be followed by a reception at the Point-aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Pam Guidry and Danny Guidry, both of Rayne. Her grandparents are the late Wilbert and Lee B. Gary and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Guidry, all of Rayne. Jade is a 1999 graduate of Rayne High School and is employed by Carmichael’s Cashway Pharmacy.
The prospective groom is the son of Craig and Linda Durio of Rayne. His grandparents are Jeanette Simoneaux and the late Reginald Simoneaux of Rayne, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lennard E. Durio of Roberts Cove. Brian is a 2000 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley and a 2003 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in aviation. He is employed by American Airlines.
Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Rayne.
