Plant & Pray Garden Club starts new year

The Plant & Pray Garden Club held its first meeting of the new club year on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Crowley home of Gail Tautkus, second from left, with Karen Faulk, far left, serving as co-hostess. The members discussed the upcoming events for the year and enjoyed a large dinner for which everyone brought a dish and swapped recipes. Club officers for the new year are Shelly Hoffpauir, treasurer; Carla Lambousy, president; and Mona Dore, secretary, third, fourth and fifth from left, respectively.
