Mr. and Mrs. Todd Venable of Crowley

Mr. and Mrs. Todd Venable of Crowley are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mckenzie Marie, to Brandt Adam Daigle, both of Lafayette.

The couple will unite in the holy sacrament of marriage on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, during a seven o’clock evening ceremony at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margaret Potier and the late R.J. Potier of Crowley and Agnes Venable and the late Wesley Venable of Church Point.

She is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is employed by Merit Energy as a landman in Shreveport.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Daigle of Rayne. His grandparents are Edwin Privat of Lafayette, Gail Witherwax of Scott, and Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Daigle of Rayne.

He is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is currently employed as a landman with Maloney Land Services in Shreveport.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Lafayette.
