APSO issues several advisories

As another round of wintry precipitation rolls into the parish, the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office has issued several new Nixle alerts.

- Both overpasses on South Riverside Road are frozen and U.S. Highway 90 between Crowley and Mermentau are freezing.

- Dispatch is advising that the flat bridge along U.S. Highway 100 near the Pentacostals of Crowley Church is icing as is U.S. Highway 97 between Evangeline and Basile.

- Patrol supervisors advise that heavy sleeting is moving into Acadia Parish, moving from the north and east parts of the parish south and west.
