Rayne Mardi Gras court nominees accepted

The committee for the 2017 Rayne Grande Court Mardi Gras Ball is accepting names of interested persons who wish to participate as court members for the Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, ball at the Rayne Civic Center.
Deadline to submit your nomination is Thursday, June 23.
The theme for the sixth annual Rayne Mardi Gras ball is “Through the Looking Glass” and will feature characters from the modern “Alice in Wonderland.”
Court members do not need to be Chamber members and can be from Rayne or the outside area.
Children in the first grade and up and male and females will be accepted.
Costume fees and ticket sales are required to participate as court member.
