Mildred Maire Simon

Rayne - Funeral services will be held at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. for Mildred Maire Simon, 76 who died Saturday, February 4, 2012 in American Legion Hospital.

Interment will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery, Rayne.

Surviving are her husband, Dallas Simon, Sr.; four sons, Dallas Simon, Jr. and companion Freida, Daniel Simon, Jr.  Gary Simon and Randy Simon and wife Marlena all of Rayne; three daughters, Lisa Board and husband Russel of Rayne, Janet Sonnier and husband Paul of Clinton, Utah and Jacquline Stiner and husband Mitchell of Rayne, 19 Grandchildren, 21 Great Great Grandchildren and one half sister, Nettie Mae Wilridge of Rayne.

She was preceded in death by two sons Steven Anthony Simon and James Allen Simon; parents Alexon and Viola Logan Andrus; four sisters Rosa Mae Joseph, Stella Granger, Lola Mae Joseph and Hazel Senagal; two brothers Alexon Andrus, Jr. and Joseph Andrus; Step Grandmother Eugenia Andrus; mother and father-in-law John Simon, Jr. and Elizabeth Joseph Simon. .

She was born Saturday, January 4, 1936 in Rayne, LA, Daughter of the late Alexon Andrus and the late Viola Logan Andrus.

Friends will be received Friday, February 10, 2012, 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
