Relay registration giveaway extended

The weather did Relay For Life no favors Monday night, but with that, Relay For Life of Acadia Parish 2015 organizers have extended their special giveaway.
Now, anyone who registers for the event for the remainder of February is entered to win one of several gift certificates to Old Tyme Café in Crowley.
While some braved the cold, drizzly rain Monday night to partake in the chance, organizers believe it only fair to open up the giveaway for the rest of the month due to the weather conditions.
Thus anyone who signs up at relayforlife.org/acadiala or by phone with Darlene Thibodeaux at 337-458-1959.
Relay For Life of Acadia Parish is set for April 25 at the Rayne Civic Center Frog Festival Pavilion beginning at 6 p.m. Teams and individuals can still register for this event beyond the Saturday, Feb. 28, deadline, however, they will not be entered into the gift certificate drawing.
