Amy Doré, Robert LeBlanc Jr. set to wed Feb. 21 in Crowley

 

Al and Mona Seilhan Doré of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Catherine Doré of Rayne, to Robert Grant LeBlanc Jr. of Carencro, son of Charlene Simpson LeBlanc and the late Robert LeBlanc Sr. of Rayne.

The bride-to-be’s maternal grandparents are the late Milton and Imae Caswell Seilhan, and her paternal grandparents are the late A.B. and Phyllis Elliot Doré.

Amy graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is presently employed as a kindergarten teacher at St. Michael Catholic School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Herbert and Verna Gilbert Simpson and  the late Augustine and Alma Guidry LeBlanc.

Robert, who graduated from Rayne High School, also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

He currently serves as a Sergeant First Class in the Louisiana National Guard and is employed by Superior Energy Services.

Amy and Robert will be joined in Holy Matrimony on Friday, Feb. 21, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley.
