Rayne Police are investigating a rash of vandalism that occurred over the Memorial Day Weekend.
At least three of the decorative frog statuettes at local businesses were knocked off their pedestals. Vanessa Watson at Daisy Cakes, one of the businesses targeted, said this is not the first instance of vandalism in her immediate area.
She said the statue at her business had been vandalized before, the fence across Polk Street had been painted on and the outside faucet at the business next door had been turned on and left running.
Anyone with information concerning this vandalism is urged to contact the Rayne Police Department at 334-4215.
