Rayne High plans homecoming, football dates

With the start of the new school year just around the corner plans are being made for Rayne High’s 2015 Homecoming, slated Sept. 18, along with the start of the new football season.
Rayne High will pay special tribute to the graduates of classes ending in “5” during the annual week-long Homecoming programs and activities, including the Friday evening game against Breaux Bridge.
A number of important dates have also be labeled for the start of the football season, including:
Aug. 3 - first day of football practice;
Aug. 5 - team pictures at 5 p.m.;
Aug. 20 - scrimmage vs. Opelousas High;
Aug. 27 - Parish Jamboree at Gardiner Memorial Stadium hosted by Crowley High School.
Rayne High’s 2015 football schedule includes: 9/4 Church Point, 9/11 at St. Louis, 9/18 Breaux Bridge, 9/25 at DeQuincy, 10/02 at Eunice, 10/09 LaGrange, 10/16 at Leesville, 10/23 DeRidder, 10/30 at Washington-Marion, 11/06 Crowley.
