Plainsman Four-Ball Championship Golf Tournament to be held May 2-3
Saturday, May 2: The Plainsman Four-Ball Championship will be held May 2-3 at BREC’s Beaver Creek Golf Course, located at 1100 Plains-Port Hudson Road.
The tournament format will consist of two person teams playing in a 36-hole, four-ball stroke play event. The field will be flighted after the first round and one pro is allowed per team. The entry fee for this tournament is $125 per player, which includes one practice round with cart, two tournament rounds with cart, prizes, tournament gift and lunch after both rounds. Contestants may register at any BREC golf course. Tee times will run from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. off of hole one both days. Tee times are required for the practice round. Pairings and tee times may be requested for Saturday’s first round only. Sunday’s tee times and pairings will be based upon flights with the highest flights teeing off first. The field will be limited to the first 64 paid teams and tee times will not be reserved until tournament fees are paid.
The Plainsman Four-Ball champions will receive two first place gift cards, two replica trophies and their names will be engraved on the Plainsman Four-Ball Championship Trophy for permanent display in the Beaver Creek clubhouse. The number of places and the amounts to be paid will be based on the size of the field.
