Branch native Dr. Ryan Cradeur opens emergency center in Texas

On July 26, a Rayne area native, Ryan David Cradeur, MD conducted a grand opening to his free standing emergency room in San Marcos, Texas.
He and two partners hope to provide quick and efficient patient care.
The ER staff is required to have an average of 15 years experience while nurses must have at least three years experience.
Dr. Cradeur is board certified and trained to handle any situation. “We have named it My Emergency Room 24/7, and will also offer sports physicals, says Cradeur, who will serve as medical director.
He and his partners plan to see a patient within ten minutes and have been out within an hour. They are planning and prepared to receive ambulance patients.
My Emergency Room 24/7 has been Dr. Cradeur’s five-year long dream which took shape after 14 years of school and hospital experience.
He started his quest for a medical degree by  attending the School of Math Science and Arts in Natchitoches. He received a full scholarship to LSU-Baton Rouge and was accepted into the LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport.
He interned at Brackenridge Hospital  and Children’s Hospital in Austin,Texas.
Professional experience was gained at Free Standing Emergency Room and Austin Emergency Center, to name a few. He was on the staff of Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale, Texas, worked with the Schumacher Group in Lafayette, La. for four years in Crockett, Texas.
Eighteen members of his family joined Dr. Cradeur in San Marcos for the grand opening.
Dr. Cradeur is the son of Foy and Jennifer Cradeur of Branch and is married to the former Laura Bryant and father to a son and two daughters.
