Mae Jeanette Lejeune

Mae Jeanette Lejeune, a native of Evangeline and a resident of Belle Chasse, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Calvin G. Lejeune; loving mother of Ricky Lejeune, Roby Lejeune, Randall Lejeune, Sherryl Varns, Ruston Lejeune and Sharonne Dearmore; grandmother of Dwayne, Glynn, Shannon, Aimee, Alexander, Ariel, Adreanne, Kenneth, Sara, Jessica, Casey, Devin, Magdaleine and CalleMae. Also survived by 20 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Myrtle Meeker.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, located at 7040 Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero on Monday, Sept. 15, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., resuming Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. The Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Belle Chasse.
