Lynn Lafleur

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Lynn Lafleur, 71, who died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at 8:15 a.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.

She had a strong devotion to her Catholic faith and her sons and was a huge New Orleans Saints fan.

Fr. Mark Miley, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting at St. Michael Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday.

Burial of her cremated remains will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with her parents and son, Brian. 

Lynn was survived by a son, Brian David Lejeune of Lafayette; one granddaughter, Lauren J. Lejeune of Tennessee; one sister, Sherlene L. Robichaux of Crowley; one brother, Dennis W. LaFleur Sr. of Lafayette; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by one son, Curtis James Lejeune Jr.; two brothers, Ronald J. Lafleur and James “Bubba” H. Lafleur; one sister, Kerlieda L. Carlisle; her parents, Joseph H. and Eva Istre Lafleur.
