Brian David Lejeune

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Brian David Lejeune, 41, who died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at 4:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Fr. Mark Miley, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting at St. Michael Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday. Burial of his cremated remains will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with his mother and maternal grandparents.

As Brian’s friend said, “there was never a dull moment around him.” He was a huge New Orleans Saints fan and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. 

Brian is survived by a niece, Lauren Lejeune of Tennessee; two paternal aunts, Donna L. Graham and Laura L. Chapman, both of Texas; maternal aunt, Sherlene L. Robichaux of Crowley; maternal uncle, Dennis W. LaFleur Sr. of Lafayette; and numerous cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis James Lejeune Sr.; his mother, Lynn Lafleur; one brother, Curtis James Lejeune Jr.
