Darlene Susan Monceaux Guidry

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Crowley for Darlene Susan Monceaux Guidry, 65, who died Friday, September 26, 2014 at 6:08 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Rev. Gerard Morgan will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Saturday from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow in Kie Hebert Cemetery.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Lloyd Guidry of Crowley; three daughters, Stephanie Schaefer of Crowley, Sandra Russell of Crowley and Susan Hanks of Crowley; one son, Jason Schaefer of Crowley; three sisters, Patsy Ritchie of Crowley, Tina Whitehurst of Houston, Texas and Sharon Monceaux of Crowley; four brothers, Ernest Monceaux, Jr. of Crowley, Kenneth Monceaux of Berwick, Kit Monceaux and Johnny Monceaux both of Crowley; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Candace Smith; her parents, Ernest, Sr. and Estina Abshire Monceaux; two sisters, Carol Foreman and Lisa Monceaux; two brothers, Jay and Ricky Monceaux.
