Audrey Faye Kegley
The family and friends of Audrey Faye Kegley are mourning the loss of their loved one, who was called from this life on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014.
Audrey was born in Jennings to Frank and Beatrice Hebert on Nov. 10, 1943. Audrey worked for the Crowley Guest House in the kitchen for 15 years. She loved to do housekeeping and cooking. Most of all, Audrey loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She will greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Audrey is survived by three sons, Michael J. (Gail) Kegley of Moss Bluff, Shelton J. (Melissa) Kegley of Sulphur and Kendell J. (Joyce) Kegley of Sulphur; two daughters, Cynthia F. (Wayne) Freeman of Rayne and Rachel A (Chris) Duhon of Midland; one brother, Joyce Hebert of Evangeline; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Beatrice Hebert; one great-grandchild, Shawn Issac Van; and two brothers, Curby and Velton Hebert.
Funeral services honoring her life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Thursday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. with Father Paul LeFleur officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery.
Visitation began at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Visiting hours resume on Thursday at 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Kegley, Ryan Kegley, David Freeman, Russell Freeman III, Chris Duhon, Frank Freeman and Jayson Kegley.
