Nora Ann Leblanc
Funeral services will be held at Centenary United Methodist Church, Saturday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. for Nora Ann Leblanc, 82, who died Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at her residence.
Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Crowley.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith LeBlanc Amick of Baton Rouge; five sons, Kenneth Murray LeBlanc and wife Norma of Wichita, Kansas, Randal Keith LeBlanc and wife Elaine of San Antonio, Texas, Gerald Wayne LeBlanc and wife Eva of Terrytown, Daniel Eric LeBlanc and wife Deborah of Pineville and Robert Bryan LeBlanc of Rayne; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two brothers, William Laurents and Glen Laurents, both of Rayne.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dudley Joseph LeBlanc; parents, Curley C. Laurents and Nora Ann Hoffpauir Laurent; two brothers, Carl Laurents and Herman “Dee Dee” Laurents; one sister, Ruth Laurents Boudreaux; and one grandson, James Brandon LeBlanc.
She was married to Dudley LeBlanc for over 62 years until his death on July 11, 2014. Both lived a long and fruitful life through the military and post retirement. They traveled to many corners of the world many times over and have many pictures and tales of their adventures.
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne on Friday, Oct. 17, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 18, from 12:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
