Rocky James Johnson

Rocky James Johnson was born on March 10, 1953 to Dorothy Johnson and the late Thomas (Joe) Johnson, Jr. Rocky departed this life on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at the home of his mother surrounded by family and friends.
Funeral services will be at Starlight Baptist Church at  1 p.m.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2.
Survivors include his daughter, L’Ticia Sias Baptiste, Rayne; four grandchildren, O’Neal, Alexandria, Landon and Colin, all of Rayne; one stepson,  Clifton Tony of Houston, Texas; a devoted sister, Rockela Johnson (Eddie) of Rayne; and brothers, Charles Johnson, Adelanto, Calif. (Jackie), Grady Johnson (Cynthia) of Houston, Texas, and Harold Johnson, Beaumont, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Febra Griffin Johnson; brothers, John and Lionel Johnson; and father, Thomas Johnson, Jr.
Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of funeral arrangements.
