Eva Richard Deshotel Klumpp
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Jules Catholic Church in Tee Mamou for Eva Richard Deshotel Klumpp, 89, who died Friday, April 24, 2015, at 4:30 a.m. at Camelot Brookside in Jennings.
Fr. Paul Lafleur, pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Jules Cemetery.
Mrs. Klumpp is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Thibodeaux of Lake Charles and Debra Anne Cox Wagner of The Woodlands, Texas; two sons, K.J. Deshotel and wife Adwiner of New Braunfels, Texas, and Larry Deshotel and wife Janet of Sulphur; three sisters, Verna Lou Gaspard of Eunice, Dorothy Lantz of Gillis and Gertrude Hebert of Ragley; three brothers, Jeffrey Richard of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Wayne Richard of Crowley and Terrell Richard of Independence; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sidney Deshotel; her second husband, Dominic Klumpp; one brother, Epil Richard; her parents, Phillip and Agnes LeJeune Richard.
