Gabriel “Curney” LeMaire

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Gabriel “Curney” LeMaire, 77, who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Beaumont, Texas..
Fr. Clint Trahan, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Monday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited Monday at 6:30 p.m. by Deacon Tom Sommers. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lyons Point.
Mr. LeMaire is survived by two daughters, Carlene Fontenot of Texas and Pandora Myers of Nebraska; one step-daughter, Mary Linda Smith of Missouri; one sister, Irene Guidry; two brothers, Floyd LeMaire and Sevignier LeMaire Jr.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita LeMaire; one son, Jimmy LeMaire; and three brother, Ernest, Doris and Norris LeMaire.
Pallbearers will be Casey LeMaire, Alex Fontenot, Robert Guidry, Paul LeMaire, Jeffrey LeMaire, Douglas Quibodeaux, Seth Faulk and Grant Faulk.
