Virginia LeBlanc Lantier

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Virginia LeBlanc Lantier, 84, who died May 18, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital.
Fr. Clint Trahan, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse, will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum II in Rayne.
She is survived by one daughter, Faye Lapoint and husband Pepe of Morse; three sons, Mack, Robert, and David Lantier, all of Morse; one brother, Ray Pratt of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Arica Morgan and husband Louis and Trish Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Louis Morgan.
Ms. Lantier is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lantier; her father, Rosley LeBlanc; her mother, Claudia Broussard Pratt; and one sister, Martha Loveday.
