David "Neal" Williams

Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:30 pm for David "Neal" Williams , 58, who died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at his residence.

Interment will be in the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Cemetery, Branch, LA.

Pastor Kevin Colson of Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church in Branch, LA will be conducting the funeral services.

Surviving are wife, Lorea Joy Taylor Williams of Rayne, one daughter, Mindy Lynn Williams Smart and husband James Timothy of Spurger, TX, one son, Christopher Neal Williams and wife Brittany Claire of Crowley, five grandchildren, Eli Smart, Levi Smart, David Williams, Emily Bertrand, Carter Cash Williams, mother and step-father, Barbara Ann Adams Merrit and husband Edward of Texarkana, LA, three brothers, Floyd Roy Williams of Texarkana, LA, Benton Layne Williams and wife Marquitta of Texarkana, LA, Marvin Kyle Williams and wife Janet of Egan, one sister-in-law, Debra Guidry Williams of Crowley.

He was preceded in death by father, Floyd Williams, one brother, Joel Allen Williams, paternal grandparents, Benton and Martha Stakes, maternal grandparents, Marvin and AmaLee Adams.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Thursday, June 18, 2015, 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Friday, June 19, 2015, 10:00 am until 2:30 pm.
