Hazel Theresa Lantier Gary

Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial for Hazel Theresa Lantier Gary, 89, who died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her residence in Rayne, LA.

Reverend Kevin Bordelon, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are three sisters, Rena Benoit of Rayne, Emely Istre of Mermentau Cove, Jane Quebodeaux and husband Johnny of Crowley, three brothers, Raymond Lantier of Duson, Raywood Lantier and wife Karen of Ragley, Eurphy Lantier and wife Betty of Iowa, LA, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Rodney Gary, father, Alpha Lantier, mother, Agatha Richard Lantier, one sister, Lou Lantier Poncho, one brother, Lenis "Nego" Lantier, mother-in-law and father-in law, Norbert and May Gary, one sister-in-law, Jane Thibodeaux Lantier, one brother-in-law, Merlyn Istre, two nephews, Jeffery Lantier, Stephen Leger, one great great niece, Maddison Hunter.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Jeanette Hunter niece, Rebecca Thibodeaux niece, Verna Henderson, Tina Costello, and to MD Home Health Network and Southern Care Hospice..

A rosary will be recited Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Sunday, July 12, 2015, 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and Monday, July 13, 2015, 8:00 am until 10:30 am.
