Parvati Chandarana Katira

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, at 9 a.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Parvati Chandarana Katira, 87, who died Monday, July 20, 2015, at 3:45 p.m. in Crowley.
The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to service time.
She is survived by three daughters, Meena Mankame of India and Hemalata Thacker and Nirupa Katira, both of Crowley; one son, Mulraj N. Katira, M.D., of Crowley; one sister, Vasant Mulji Mahidhar of India; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Narsidas Dayaran Katira.
