Rayne volunteer firemen’s fais-do-do slated Sept. 12

The much anticipated annual fais-do-do benefit for the Rayne Volunteer Fire Department will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Rayne Civic Center.
Co-chairs Fire Chief Allen “Noochie” Credeur and fireman Brandon Dupuis report doors to the Civic Center will open at 1 p.m. and band performance will begin at 2 p.m. Admission will be $5.
Bradley Venable and Kajun Kraze will take the take the stage from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
High Performance will entertain from 5 to 7 p.m.
Dustin Sonnier and the Wanted will follow from 7:45 to 9: 45 p.m.
Geno Delafose & French Rockin Boogie will close out the live entertainment between 10:30 and 12:30 p.m.
The benefit will include both silent and live auctions, as well as food and drinks will be available.
The volunteer firefighters are seeking donations from any businesses or individuals for the live and silent auctions.
Sponsors who donate $500 or more will be recognized on an individual banners, radio and television spots and flyers.
