William J. “Bill” Breaux

A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held for William J. “Bill” Breaux, 79, at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Father Charles McMillin, pastor of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the funeral home chapel with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m., continuing until 10 p.m. and will resume Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. until just prior to the service time.
Mr. Breaux passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Bill is survived by his son, Jody L. Breaux and wife Kourtney of Egan; daughter, Bridgette B. Frey, also of Egan; grandchildren, Adrian Frey and wife Danielle of Mermentau, Aleisha Frey, Annaleigh Thibodeaux and Emmaleigh Joan Breaux all of Egan; great-grandchildren, Molly Frey and Rylie Frey; brothers, Pearlise Breaux and wife Alberta of Sulphur, Warren Breaux and Anna Menard, also of Sulphur, Wallace Breaux and wife Mary of Crowley and Robert Breaux of Lafayette; sisters, Helen Guidry of Lafayette, Linda Breaux and Bobby Richard of Rayne and Barbara Domingue and husband Willie of Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Breaux; parents, Calise Breaux and Eva Trahan Breaux; brother, Lawrence Breaux; sister, Gloria Lantier; and son-in-law, Max Frey.
