Alfred J. Simoneaux

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Alfred J. Simoneaux, 69, who died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at 7:25 p.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.

Rev. Charlie Crews will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Vida Pryor Simoneaux of Crowley; one sister, Mae Rose Begnaud of Church Point; one brother, Tilford Simoneaux of Crowley; two brothers-in-law, J.W. Pryor and Ned Pryor, both of Crowley; one niece, Crystal Hammock; two nephews, Jeremy and Josh Simoneaux; and five great nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adula R. Smith and Melvin Simoneaux.
