Antonio “Jorge” Faria

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, La. for Antonio “Jorge” Faria, 49, who passed away surrounded by family on June 9, 2015 at 1:40 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Associate Pastor Linda Shulaw, of Global Harvest Mission, Inc. Church in Lafayette will officiate for the services. Burial will be in the Abshire Cemetery in Indian Bayou.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Prayer Services will be Thursday, June 11, 1015 at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie Constantin Faria of Indian Bayou; his daughter, Briana Faria and Harley Abac of San Luis Obispo, CA.; one grandson, Makoa Abac of San Luis Obispo, CA.; his parents, Silvino and Benvinda Ceu’ Faria of Lisbon, Portugal; one brother, Rui’ Faria of Lisbon, Portugal; his maternal grandmother, “Avo Bee Bee” Virginia Rosa of Lisbon, Porugal.
