Georgia Nugent McNei

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Iota for Georgia Nugent McNeil, 93, who died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 9:25 p.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Alan Trouille, Pastor of Our Lady of Seven Dolors, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Maxie Cemetery.
Mrs. McNeil is survived by four grandchildren, Leslie Robbins of Arlington, TN, Angela Theriot and her husband Nolan of Lafayette, Allison Landry and her husband Jacob of Lake Charles, Darin McNeil and his wife Elizabeth of Dallas, TX; one daughter-in-law, Linda McNeil of Lafayette; one son-in-law, Fred Berger of Lake Charles; seven great-grandchildren, Timothy and Celia Theriot, Jesse, Jake and Julia Landry, Elizabeth and Xander McNeil; two sisters, Juanita Burleigh of Lafayette and Mitzi Gordon of Oakdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McNeil; one daughter, Ann Berger; one son, Donald Hugh McNeil; granddaughter, Laurie Ann Berger; her parents, Joseph and Bernadine Leger Nugent; five sisters, Josie Robinson, Melba Collins, Elizabeth McFarland, Donella Pizzolatto and Dorothy Nugent; one brother, Daniel Nugent.
Pallbearers will be Nolan Theriot, Timothy Theriot, Darin McNeil and Jacob Landry.
