Harry Lee “T-Boy” Joseph

Harry Lee (T-Boy) Joseph was born to the late Otis and Germaine Joseph Nov. 17, 1938. On Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, God sent his angel down from heaven to rescue his child to his new heavenly home.
He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church for many years. He was a faithful member of the Salt of the Earth Choir, which he loved dearly. He was employed at Winbush Funeral Home for many years.
Left to mourn and cherish Harry’s memories are the mother of his children, Dorothy Joseph; his six children, Kerry (Sophia) Joseph of Church Point and Lynn (Charles) Butts, Daniel (Monica) Joseph, Debbie (Thaddius) Nolan, Glennis Joseph and Cynthia Joseph, all of Crowley; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Hayward, John, Aaron and Freddie Joseph, all of Houston, Texas, and Eddie George of Opelousas; six sisters, Earline Joseph, Marjorie Cotton and Ella “Rose” Toussant, all of Houston, Texas, Delores Ann Wells of Tucson, Arizona, and Mary “Sis” Ruiz of Columbus, Ohio; three godchildren, Latonya Davis, John Fontenot Sr. and Lovekio Sonnier; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Germaine Joseph; one son, Dimick Joseph; his grandson, Glennis Joseph Jr.; great-grandson, Chad Wiltz Jr.; one sister, Cecilie Savoy; and one brother, Lester Joseph.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Harry at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, located at 717, W. Third St. in Crowley. The family has requested that visitation be held at the church beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday until time of Mass.
Fr. Godwin Imoru will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
