Judy Gail Prejean

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Judy Gail Prejean, 61, who died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Encore Nursing Center in Crowley.

Rev. Steve Horn, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lafayette, will celebrate the services. Visitation may be observed from 9 a.m. Friday until service time.

She is survived by her parents, Joe and Aline Prejean of Crowley; a daughter, Laura Ann Wilder of Crowley; a son, Dave Wilder and wife Pam of Killeen, Texas; four grandchildren, Jackelyn Dworaczyk, Courtney Battin, Blakeman Matthews and Amanda Vences; four great-grandchildren, Riley, Jacee, Adylnn, Isabella, Sebastian and Lucyanna; three sisters, Darlene Thibodeaux of Sulphur, Gloria and Charlie Abshire of Crowley and Kim and Paul Touchet of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dave and Effie Meche; and her paternal grandparents, Naster and Estella Prejean.
