Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 3:00 pm for Lionel Joseph Fusilier, 64, who died Thursday, May 13, 2015 at Acadia General Hosptial in Crowley, LA.

Surviving are his companion, Wendy Venable of Crowley; four brothers, David Fusilier of Branch, Terry Fusilier and wife Martha of Rayne, Roger "Dale" Fusilier and wife Debra of Rayne, and Ronald Fusilier and Debbie of Rayne; two sisters, Tammy Fusilier of Scott, and Mary Ellen Davy of Crowley; five step-children, David Bourque and wife Ashley of Iota, Joey Bourque and Angela of Maurice, Donielle Bourque and companion Matthew Moore of Scott, Jerri Averitte and husband Clovis of Crowley, Jason Bourque and companion Tabby Gary of Duson; and eleven step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by father, Roicy Adam Fusilier, mother, Mary Nette Richard Fusilier; one brother, Roicy Lee Fusilier; one sister, Theresa Fusilier; and one step son, Daniel Bourque.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Saturday, May 16, 2015, 10:00 am until 9:00 pm.
