Nettie Mae Eaglin Comeaux

RAYNE – A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Nettie Mae Eaglin Comeaux (72) will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Cunningham CME Church, 300 Harrop St., Rayne LA. Pastor E.I. Sullivan will officiate the services.
Interment will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Church Cemetery, Duson, LA.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM, Saturday at the church until time of services.
Nettie was born November 7, 1942 in Rayne, Louisiana to the union of Hattie Goodwill Eaglin and the late Floyd Eaglin. She was a member of the Cunningham CME Church where she was sang in the Choir. She was married to the late Albert J. Comeaux and they were blessed with four children. She was a lifelong resident of Rayne, LA.
In addition to her husband and father, she was also preceded in death by her two brothers. Nettie departed this earthly life and transcended to eternal life on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in Lafayette, LA following a brief illness.
Nettie leaves to celebrate her life and cherish many wonderful memories with her four children, Danny R. Comeaux, Ella F. Comeaux and Regina Sonnier, all of Rayne, LA, and Olivia L. Comeaux; her mother, Hattie Goodwill Eaglin of Rayne, LA; one sister, Lillie M. Eaglin of Rayne, LA; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
