Patricia Ann Leon Gautreaux

Rayne, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Ann Leon Gautreaux, 63, of Rayne will be celebrated on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Samuel Fontana will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. in Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, LA, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Gautreaux passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 9:25 A.M. in her Rayne residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Rayne, Mrs. Gautreaux was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She lived out her faith as a member of Ladies Altar Society, and as a loving wife, mother, and
grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and playing pool, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for her family.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Weston Paul Gautreaux of Rayne; son, Kevin Paul Gautreaux of Rayne; daughters, Angela Cormier of Rayne, and Tracy Axtell and husband, Kenneth of Pearland, TX; sister, Louella Richard and husband, Donald of Mire; brothers, Harry Leon and wife, Savanna of Rayne, and Ray Leon of Rayne; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Mrs. Gautreaux in death were her son, Shannon Joseph Gautreaux; parents, Louis and Delia Owens Leon; and sister, Theresa Leger.

Serving as pallbearers are her grandchildren, Chasidy Gautreaux, Shannon Cormier, Devon Dickerson, Aaron Cormier, Gannon Quebodeaux, Mary Cormier, Trinity Axtell, Scott Cormier, and Natalie Gautreaux.
