Thelma Ann Cormier Richard

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at The Pentecostals of Crowley for Thelma Ann Cormier Richard, 66, who died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.

Rev. Lenford Whitaker, pastor, will conduct the services. Visitation may be observed on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Murphy Henry Richard Sr. of Crowley; her daughter, Melissa R. Colangelo and husband Carlos of Crowley; four sons, Murphy Richard Jr. and wife Christine of Rayne; Clayton Richard and wife Jolene of Crowley; Shannon Wayne Richard and wife Jamie of Iota and Michael John Richard of Crowley; four sisters, Brenda Monceaux of Crowley, Dolores Trahan of Jennings, Virginia Richard of Crowley and Alina Garcia of Crowley; nine grandchildren, Cody Richard, Megan Richard, Jeanne Backer, Cacey Richard Pridgeon, Baleigh Medows, Madyson Richard, Konnor Richard, Kara Colangelo and James Colangelo; five great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Grayson, Zi, Gianna and Giovanna.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Hazel Touchet Cormier; two brothers, Rufus and Jerry Cormier; one sister, Sarah Richard and a grandson, Brandt Richard.
