WIN MUSTANG SECTION - The boys Mustang Americans All-Stars, comprides of league players of the 2016 Rayne Recreation Summer Program, captured the first place banner over the weekend during their sectional tournament held in Rayne. Rayne all-stars advance with wins

The Rayne Recreation Department hosted a number of baseball all-star teams over the weekend, including mustang, bronco and pony league teams, during the 2016 South Zone Baseball Sectional.
In the mustang division, the Rayne Americans captured top honors as Section Champions. The Nationals gave a good showing but did not place.
In bronco action, the Rayne All-Stars placed third overall.
The Rayne Pony All-Stars are headed to regionals this weekend as they claimed first place as Sectional Champions.
In pinto action held in Eunice, the Pinto Americans placed second overall, while the Nationals played well but did not place.
All qualifying baseball all-star teams will advance to their regional tournament this weekend. Both the Pinto Americans and the Pony All-Stars will participate in the 2016 South Zone Baseball Regionals this weekend at the Youngsville Sports Complex, while the Mustang Americans will begin play Friday at Erath.
All four girls’ all-star teams are presently participating in their Zone National Tournament in Youngsville. Each team placed during their Regional Tournament held last weekend in Crowley. At Regionals, the Pinto and Mustang All-Star teams placed first, Bronco All-Stars placed third and the Pony All-Stars were runners-up. Good luck to all players and coaches.
