Announce wedding plans

Raymond and Kathy Trahan of Rayne are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katie Trahan, to Corey Trahan of Rayne. 

The couple will be married  on Saturday, May 24, 2014, during a 6 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Romand Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Rayne Civic Center.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Prejean of Rayne and Mr. and Mrs. Shelvan Trahan of Kaplan. She is a 2010 graduate of Rayne HIgh School, and a 2014 graduate of Acadiana Area Career College with a major in dental assistant.

The prospective groom is the son of Rayford Trahan of Egan and Mona Baudoin Trahan of Rayne. His grandparents are Carroll Baudoin of Rayne, the late Goldie Baudoin, Geraldine Trahan of Egan, and the late Robert Trahan Sr. He is a GED graduate of SLCC and is employed by Parker Drilling.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Rayne.
