Elvis Louis Daigle

Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. for Elvis Louis Daigle, 76 who died Monday, April 18, 2011 at his residence in Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are four sons, Taite Daigle of Rayne, Carlos Daigle of Butte La Rose, Donald Daigle of Rayne, Kenny Daigle of Rayne, two brothers, Vernal Daigle of Rayne, Leroy Daigle of Rayne, one sister, Anna Mae Alleman of Rayne, eight Grandchildren, three Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joyce DeJean Daigle, his parents, Henry and Doris Mier Daigle, one daugther, Sheila Daigle, three brothers, Curtis Daigle, L. J. "King" Daigle and Linton Daigle, and one sister, Gertha LeBlanc, one grandson, Blaine Francis Daigle.

He was born Saturday, September 22, 1934 in Mire, LA, son of the late Henry Daigle and the late Doris Mier Daigle.

Mr. Daigle served in the Airforce for two years. He also was a member of the Shirners and Mason.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until service.
